The Best Carbonara in 2019
I’ll cut right to the chase here, and just show you a single serving of the best bowl of carbonara you can get anywhere, on Earth:
Yep, I’ve had many plates of carbonara, in many places, over many years.
This carbonara courtesy of one of the best restaurants in Italy (and Earth too) Trevignano Romano to be exact — Osteria La Cantinella
Oh yeah, and here is Rufino…
…the best owner, host you could ask for!! He makes it even greater!
If you ever go to Italy, or Rome, I’m going to assume you’re doing that mostly for the cuisine you should make a trip to have this — and stay at least two nights (you’ll want to savor it twice).
You won’t regret it, if you don’t go you will forever regret it or look at any other plate of carbonara as a pretender, a distant third to the greatest bowl of food you can enjoy.

P.S. — There are two Trevignano’s in Italy so make sure you don’t go to the wrong one - they are far away from each other! You want this one, not this one.
